good question some are paid royalties on the movie some take one time payment. You have to realize they may big movie stars today but ten years from now their washed up selling cars.same as sports players and alot of them do not bank their money. They end up broke and on the street
Gullible People. Truth is we really don't care who gets our money. Just as long as we give it to someone🙄
Because we buy tickets that allow the producers to still make money on their movies even after paying their salaries.
And enough of us buy the tickets to make that a pretty good business to be in.
Because it's called "star" .
When i'm working hard and making my name a meaning. I become a public face in a strong way, people's favorite, and that level brings strong ad and commercial success. And i need to earn by how hard i worked for my name.
1.When i'm a movie star, mostly first characters would fly over me, so first character must earn it's level, and i bring commercial success to the movie, my name and image will make people to give the movie a try means more income for the movie and i deserve share of that income which part of it caused by me.
2.My role might be out of figure of characters, a few minute of play, but yet, that few minute of act is been a proud show! Means i'm there to show off a good character with my star face. Which would excite people. Still i deserve a good share for the reputation i have built.
3.As a star i have commercial success, companies and brands looking over me to contract me for their imagery and products which is part of a profession world, and i earn part of my earnings that way.
4.Also some side contract will float over! Movie get paid specifically to use Gucci suits in the movie, and movie pays me to wear it on my character in the movie. It's another type of earning.
