Not a big fan of Martin Sheen and Apocalypse Now is one of the worst Vietnam movies made. About 5 minutes of truth in the whole movie. But I do like this older movie he was in a lot. The Final Countdown .

I LOVED this movie with Martin Sheen. It's called "The Way". It's about a father who takes up his son's pilgrimage walk (called the 'Camino de Santiago' from France to Spain-it's an actual journey that many take every year-it's famous) after his son gets killed at the beginning of the journey .
The dad gets a call in California that his son has died in bad weather at the beginning of the walk, and he goes to claim his son's body and backpack in France.
He sees his son's backpack all equipped for this long journey and decides to take the same long journey that he ridiculed his own son for taking, for his son.
He meets all sorts of interesting people along "The Way".

This is a real video of a daughter and father walking the Camino de Santiago last year and what they see during their walk . It took them a month and a half. Anyone can take this journey, but it takes preparation and they ability to walk hundreds of miles.

It is not a movie but I liked him in West Wing.
I don't know many movies with him but I am sure there is one I like oh by the way I have the same bday as him.
