I don't get it ... My dad loved it though. I used to go to all the plays he acted in and they were mostly British humour ..... I still don't get it.
Definitely! I'm in awe of the people who can write shows like Yes, Prime Minister, and keep coming up with that brilliant stuff, week after week.
Dear Roy Roy,
Not all of it...but when I got CBC TV channel from Vancouver, BC I just loved Mr. Bean!
Played by Rowan Atkinson, and described as "the misadventures of a bumbling loner." Also some of the movies...Sir Alec Guinness, I especially loved him in LADYKILLERS, one of my all-time top favourites! Also loved Sir John Gielgud - mainly Shakespearean of course, but like all great actors he could do pretty much anything...
I love British humour (note the spelling). I especially loved "Are You Being Served" and "Benny Hill".
I haven't seen much of the newer stuff, but Monty Python was funny.
I might have in a different life, but I was exposed to many British shows (not by choice) many on binge watching.....so I have to say no, it makes me cringe 😫
Be truthful, its just not funny to me and 99% I don't understand.
I just don't get it.
I love some of the sitcoms like Keeping Up Appearances
The only one I like is Only Fools and Horses.
I was brought up on it, so many memories linked to it.
