Spending time with friends and family. My brothers ran cross country in high school. They started a tradition of playing touch football at noon on Christmas Eve. Everyone just shows up. No invitations, go out. Now that there is Facebook and a page for X-C Alumni, it does get a mention there. And now my brother coaches the team so new generations are brought in. It has been going on for more than 40 years. I don't play anymore, but I watch and catch up with old friends.
Then there are two family dinners. We do Christmas Eve at my mom's house since so many of our extended family has to split times with their extended families those who would have to split Christmas Day, do Christmas eve instead so there is no rushing.
I am hosting Christmas day this year so I don't have to split my time between my family and my husband's. Should be interesting.
Seeing people I haven't seen all year, HoneyBaked ham, and Christmas cookie baking.
It's a time when family and friends get together and just spend time together
Bathroom time after eating everything
Mmmm...it's a magical time...when all my family gather in one place
But what I like more then feast - are gifts! I like to get them and present to all my close friend and relatives...
And after all conversations...songs and congratulates, I like to play alone at midnight...
