The name of the song is "Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)" It was written by Bart Howard. When it was introduced, it was called "In Other Words," but the title was later officially changed because everyone knew it as "Fly Me to the Moon."

The song was originally recorded as "In Other Words" by the stage and TV actress Kaye Ballard in 1954. Two years later, Johnny Mathis recorded it as "Fly Me to the Moon."

Although Frank Sinatra's version (recorded with the Count Basie orchestra and released in 1964) is the most famous, it's been recorded by scads of people, including Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Nat "King' Cole, Bobby Darin, Ella Fitzgerald and Judy Garland.

It has been used in a few movies, including WALL STREET and SPACE COWBOYS.

As for the lyrics - as with many songs written in the past 75 years or so, it's still under copyright. You might be able to find them on a Website.

Hope this helps!
