MTV premiered in 1981. I can still remember using my new home theater seating to watch the first video, "Video Killed the Radio Star". It was a very ironic and smart choice for the first video if you ask me.  Too bad MTV doesn't play music anymore.

Penicillin wasn't exactly 'created' but it was discovered! I believe the year was 1928 but I don't think it was in Scotland, like someone on here suggested. I do know that penicillin was a proponent for many other discoveries in medicine, including the VBS vaccine.

I don't know how to get around the security issue with Outlook 2007. My only recommendation would be to view the gif as a webpage; you can always switch to a different email program as well.
