No, that's how they make their money informing the viewers about their products. But you have the right to by pass them if you have Tivo you can fast forward pass them. I do. I'd like it better if Tivo would by past them automatically for me as I dislike them interupting what I'm watching and they seem to steal time away from the movies. Sometimes it will cut off the end of a movie because the commercials use up too much time. I hate when that happens.

Probably not all
but I don't need to see everyone's erectile this function, pms, menstrual cycles, birth control or feminine itching problems
and prescription meds advertising just runs up the cost of the meds so  no one can afford them

I agree and disagree that commercials should be allowed on t.v one I disagree because of the fast food restaurants and two I agree they give information about stores like grocery store sales and clothing store sales or closings.

I hate commercials they so annoying, I'm sure there are plenty of other ways for people to advertise their products than interrupt people trying to watch a programme

You are walking on a very slippery slope when you begin talking about banning anything.  That is free speech we are talking about here.  It would take an act of congress to stop the commercials and I don't think any American wants a government that can control any form of our information outlets...TV, Newspapers, Radio, Computers etc.  So, although I do not like commercials myself, I say, "Bring them on."

When a question is asked it is often good to explore all sides of the issue. I don't like commercials anymore than the other person, they interrupt my shows and they are often too loud & annoying. Still...it is an issue of free speech, something that should be highly valued. It is you option to give me a thumbs down and your right to do so. It is my option to say it is not justified. Would you like to explain your reasoning??
