The artist who had hits with 'Big Yellow Taxi', 'River' and 'Blue' is Joni Mitchell (real name Roberta Joan Anderson)
- Joni is a Canadian singer, songwriter and painter. Her 1971 recording 'Blue' was rated the 30th best album ever made in Rolling Stone magazine's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time"
Her song "Big Yellow Taxi" was a hit worldwide and is still often played on radio stations.
