Twombly was not the painter of most of the paintings, if any. I still can't find out who the main contributor is.
In The Movie Ghost Writer, What Is The Name Of The Abstract Artist Whose Paintings Are On The Walls Of The Beach House?
The long horizontal painting with white calligraphic scrawls on black background was a Cy Twombly.
I thought one (or more?) looked like a hans hoffman. But I was wondering...would they be reproductions of real paintings, or prop paintings created in the style of certain artists/movements OR would they actually have gotten the real thing and hung on to it for the duration of the shooting?
