Carrie-Ann Moss plays the role of Trinity in the Matrix trilogy. Trinity as commonly known refers to the equal union of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, therefore a very powerful source. According to Christianity life comes from this source, hence adding value to the concept that Neo is brought back to life by the character Trinity. The movie was awarded Oscars for sound effects editing, visual effects, film editing and sound. It won an award for special effects although it was competing to Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
