A character called The Abomination once beat The Hulk in their first battle, but he took The Hulk by surprise and didn't let up until Hulk fell. The Abomination was created by gamma rays just like The Hulk was, and he received an even bigger dose which made him stronger. However Bruce Banner later used a gamma ray device to drain some of The Abomination's power and then The Hulk fought him again and won.
