Although, for sure, Jesus is the coolest, since he ascended into Heaven, I don't consider Him a person anymore. So, on a human level the coolest person(s) for me ever would be my hubby & kids, the Dahli Lama and Ricky Martin. (i love that man; ) LoL~  I think John Edwards the psychic is pretty cool too.  Kinda hard to pick just one cool person.
