Although Smurfette is the best-known female smurf, there are actually THREE female smurfs:
Smurfette -
The blonde female smurf was originally a brunette, and was created by the evil Gargamel to destroy the smurfs. Luckily, Papa Smurfs' magic turned her good (and blonde!).
Nanny Smurf -
Nanny Smurf is the grandma of the smurfs (as her name suggests).
Sassette Smurfling -
Sassette is something of a tom-boy (well, you would be... Growing up with so many boy smurfs). She's known for her sense of adventure, and her wardrobe of identical pink dungarees.
