What is your favorite quote from movies, comics, famous people ETC?

My favorite quote would probably be this: 

"Don't let the color of your environment change who you are.  Be yourself and stay your true color." 

This means don't let others change who you are. Be yourself. :D

There are many epic quotes from movies, music and people to live by. One of my personal favourites is by Nelson Mandela,

‘There is no easy walk to freedom anywhere and many of us will have to pass through the valley of the shadow of death again and again before we reach the mountain tops of our desires.’

I find that this is a very relatable quote for most people. Most of us are not born exactly where we want to end up in life, and throughout the course of our journey we are likely to encounter a multitude of obstacles, resistance and down fall. This was particularly heightened during the period of slavery, to which this quote resonates deepest. But once we have triumphed through those obstacles, our happiness is in the nirvana we find at the mountain top of our desires - once we finally achieve it.

A lot of people see Nelson Mandela as a source of inspiration. I can't think of many people who had such a profound impact on the entire world in their lifetime, so his ideology and quotes live on as an inspiration for all.
