Sometimes TV screen turns blue it automatically turns itself off that's normal if:

You are viewing programs and the signal is cut-off

you are viewing say DVD movie and you disconnect your video connector

But once the indicator lights blinks and you haven't done anything like disconnecting the cable

it means your TV enter into protection mode, it is protecting itself from further damaged

This normally happens if your T.V set is placed so that it is exposed to sunlight. See if it may be next to a window or door from where sunlight may be filtered into the room. Just place it in a spot where no sunlight falls over it. Wait for a day and hopefully that will take care of it. If not it might be a problem with the picture tube and you'll have to take it to a repair shop. It might start working after the repair for a while but normally when that happens it's time to discard it and get a new T.V set. Hope it's the former in which case you can keep this one. Good luck!
