I ordered a drone from somewhere in China, and it's supposed to come to a suburb outside NYC. How long will that take?

Well that depends on what company is shipping your product and how much you paid for shipping. I know that if you had large international companies shipping it like FedEx or UPS, it'd come within a week or less but you may have to pay $20 just for shipping. If you had a cheaper option, it may take three weeks to a month and a half. Also if you ordered something near one of China's holidays, it will be delayed for a few days.

I recently ordered something from China and I currently reside in Upstate New York (so not so near but close enough). For shipping, I chose the cheapest (in this case, it was actually free using CHINAPOSTAIR) and the package took 18 days to get to me. Before purchasing, the website I ordered it from told me it will get to me in 11 days. But then after I placed the order, the website estimated that it will get to me by April which at the time was a lot longer than 11 days. However, what the website said were both wrong as I didn't get it within 11 days but didn't have to wait until April. In other words, you can't really trust what they say because international shipping is pretty sketchy.

But to be safe, it's better to choose the cheapest option because I wouldn't trust their so-called fast shipping and you wouldn't want to lose your money on something like that.
