Is it bad that I'm 15 and I've already seen at least 4 R rated movies? How old were you when you started watching an r movie or two?

Hm... Well, a lot of the movies I watch are R-rated. There are way too many splendiferous movies that are, unfortunately, R-rated. I'm merely 14 years old, but R-rated movies include most the good stuff that are coming out nowadays. Many of my top preferred movies are 'rated R for restricted'. (Battle Royale, Pi, Donnie Darko, The Machinist... To name a few...)

I started watching R-rated movies when I started watching movies more so for the purpose of inspiration for writing. I'd say around 11 or so. Perhaps even earlier, not sure.

I wish some movies could have been toned down a bit so my parents would allow me to watch it. For instance, Mordecai

I used to watch some R-rated movies with my parents, but now, I usually just watch them online, alone, when they're on TV, et cetera... The thing is, they are available elsewhere too. Coming to think of it, I have never asked to watch an R-rated movie since I always had access to them.

I think some movies that are R- Rated should never be. I think who ever makes these ratings needs to revise them again cause I think a lot of mistakes are being done. Nowadays its almost impossible to watch a movie that isn't R-Rated.

I agree with you. A lot of movies are rated R for the several occurrences of profanity and/or sexual explicit scenes, whereas others are a tad... understandable. Films do not necessarily need a rating, but oftentimes, theaters won't showcase a movie without proper ratings due to the fact that *anyone* would be able to walk in and watch... So, in the US of A, the MPAA gets to rate them. I suppose they can be a little 'overbearing'... for lack of better words, of course. Sometimes, I don't believe an R-rating is all that necessary. Good answer! ^-^

I think I was 13 when I watched an R rated movie, so 15 is an okay age.
