Quite the thriller ! Makes you feel sorry for the daughters. From what I've also read, Joan Crawford was kind of a pyscho with her kids and mean as can be. While her career was going downhill, she took it out on the kids. The book is much better than the film but the movie is decent. Not the kind of mother I would wish on anyone.
