If another world attacked us , it would be the end of the Earth for sure as we barely get to the moon and these Aliens can cross Universes so we wouldn't stand a chance against their weaponry

We'd all rally behind Bill Pullman who would be elected President of Earth and we'd really sock it to 'em. They might be technologically advanced but they ain't never run up against anything like a whole passel of snarky humans.

But, of course, Bill has already done the job, as everybody knows:

Great movie and great scene right there ! I hear that they are making another movie but aren't calling it Independence Day.

I loved the movie, Rooster, but not sure I'd bother with a sequel. It's been done, and well done. End of story. I'd previously seen Bill Pullman play the role of a moron, and he was pretty convincing. To come from that to his role as President in this movie was spectacular. The guy's a great actor.
