Do you find yourself emotionally attached to a song, quote, etc? If so, why?

Yes, I will cry every time I hear the following songs. It's because it reminds me of people I lost, or of really rough times in my life.

I don't waste my emotions on non sentient things in life. I save them for the living.

I may like some songs and quotes but I never get emotionally attached to them. Many have meaning to me but that's it. I save my emotions for truly important people and things in life. That's where your emotions belong.

It depends how we define the "emotional attachment" I almost attached to all Linkin Park songs, specially, In the end, Crawling, Numb & By myself, they give me energy & motivate me & help me a lot, the same with some quotes, I read a cycle of quotes everyday & I start my day with them so by them i keep being motivated & makes me to not lose myself & my path. 

They help me to remind myself my principles & how i need to behave. & there's some songs that brings me some particular memories so i have a special attachment to them as well.

I don't know if all that counts as emotional attachment!

This song is dear to my heart because it was my mom's favorite.  She sort of passed it on to me.
