I'd listen for that haunting movie soundtrack and I'd get my a$$ out of there. :)
Being cool, calm and always in control, I'd calmly assess the possibilities, then run like hell ... straight into the arms of the killer's evil helper. Zap! No more Didge.
Alternatively there's the Scheherezade approach. She was the minx in 1001 Nights who bewitched the sultan by telling him stories every night. He kept her alive just to hear another story. It worked well for her but I still think I'd take Option #1 and run like hell.
Maybe, I'm a scary fighter and I have no PROBLEM immediately shooting him and I'll use everything in the room and stomp him when he falls.
