I read an article a while back that the FDA had released a statement from a recent study that said that food, when used properly, could prevent hunger. It also stated that we cannot reuse food once it has been eaten and that the external wrapping must be removed before consumption.

I wonder how much THAT study cost the taxpayers of the US.

Aaaaaak! All spiders get dealt with the same way in my house. With my size 15 boot! Lol.
Hippy, I'm not sure I want to know the cost. I'm sure it's a ridiculous amount.

The refugee crisis out of the MidEast ... Think about it, if everybody but the fighters leave - it becomes a LOT easier just to kill everybody left.  So the fighting forces should be going out of their way to ensure the civilian population doesn't feel the need to leave.

A few weeks ago Australia had a change of Prime Minister when the incumbent insisted on saying silly things which aggravated everybody from the Opposition to his supporters, to the leaders of other nations. Unfortunately, he was totally unaware of his shortcomings. My laugh came when journalist, Annabelle Crabbe, described one comment as "Another cheerful Tony Abbott demi-gaffe."
