Not sure about cleverest and however! The clever manner will be defined by the situation.
I love anything that Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park writes down.
-This sounds clever and amazing to me:
(Fort Minor - Project from Mike Shinoda and style of beyond - Remember the name.
"This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!"
or this part is damn clever! But probably no one will get it unless you listen and follow Linkin Park, cause it's about Mike himself, and Linkin Park crew. *that's why i like it! Not many people understand unless you be LP constant listener.
"Eight years in the making, patiently waiting to blow,Now the record with Shinoda's taking over the globe" (the eight years is pointed out from LP's first album in 2000, to 2008, where they recorded three successful global albums and now they are middle of another great project at current (at that time)
Or *when Mike talk about himself*
"Forget Mike - Nobody really knows how or why he works so hard
It seems like he's never got time
Because he, writes every note and he writes every line
And I've seen him at work when that light goes on in his mind
It's like a design is written in his head every time
Before he even touches a key, or speaks in a rhyme
And those mother*** he runs with,
The kids that he signed?
Ridiculous, without even trying,
How did he do it"
(in few last lines pointing out about his band mates and the kid he signed, he talking about Chester Bennington that joined to the group and completed it and they made LP together back in the days)
