No Country for Old Men. Fair movie but not worthy of the hype nor any Oscars. That Javier Bardem was a one hit lousy wonder.

I've seen him a little in some other things but they weren't very good.

Are we talking Jarvier Barden? . . . Great Bond villain in "Sky Fall".

If your talking Josh Brolin . . I really like him. He's a great actor and played in one of my favorite sleeper movies "Old Boy".
"Old Boy" is not a recommendation I am making . . I loved the movie because of the acting and the writing . . . the subject matter is not palatable for all, but to fully describe would give away that special part that makes it a "shocking" movie . . . Much like the Sixth Sense had Shock to it.

Yes, Javier Bardem. Josh Brolin is a great actor like his Father.

One of the biggest ones that I can remember is "Moon Struck".

Before we had children it was a date night outing that me and my wife had seen . . . It was a one of those movies you tell your friends to wait and rent on VHS (yes I'm that old). When the darn movie won academy awards my wife and I looked at each other . . . Had we been paying attention? So, they re-released the movie back into theaters (as the often do for Academy award movies) and we said "Let's give it another go . . . Open minded." . . .

NOPE, still a rental at best.

Which sequels . . The Dark Knight ones (Recent) or the earlier ones of the 80's . . . The ones that had Clooney and Val Kilmer in them where just plain bad . . .

In the late 1990s to early 2000s Hollywood kept trying to artsy crap. Traffic and Eyes Wide Shut came out then. With both of them, I left the theater thinking what a waste of a good evening out. That was about the time I stopped watching movies.
