I bought a very special lady a nice flower arrangement for her home. She loved it. I also bought her a pair of boots that she really wanted also.

I bought my husband a couple of new saw horses. They are not only adjustable in height but in width, too.

We ad a new shed installed and he had been adding a shelf and putting pegboard up. He had been using the recycle bins or my brother-in-laws tailgate. I figured everyone would be safer if I got the sawhorses.

Dear Soul Fly,

Well it was lunch for a new friend at the senior center...but thereby hangs a story...

Bud is 91, last fall he lost his beloved wife then his steel guitar got stolen....plays lovely Country & Western for dancing, such devastation. Talking to the sheriff meant he was only five minutes early for Senior Center Lunch, and they want you there earlier than that, so the self-appointed monitors scolded Bud and sent him to the end of the line.

Well my friend Lauraine and I saw all this stepped in and defended Bud (arguing, unusual for me). We went to the end of the line with him!

Next time we brought him out here to different Sr. Ctr. the one here in Tenino and bought his lunch here, introduced him to new friends more tolerant, and got him lined up now for Lauraine's (famous) card games tomorrow, and when we left 'im he was feelin' better you bet...

My daughter has been having a real hard time as of late. Her serious relationship ended and her heart is broken. So this morning I tried cheering her up by buying her a Java Chip Frappacino with whipped cream. She cheered me up by accepting one because there were years that went by that she didn't ask because of her ED. We also helped her out by covering the deficit on her phone bill this morning.
