Two old war movies actually. The original : All Quiet on the Western Front and another one with James Coburn called : Cross of Iron. Both really sad and show the foolishness of war.

It was the movie about the best doggone dog in the west for me too. I still get a little choked up when I watch Old Yeller but don't tell anyone. LOL

Well I was a toddler in the 1940's, and the VERY first film I ever cried over...had to be BAMBI, the Disney film came out in 1942...
My first movie cry was Dumbo. When they took Dumbo from his Mama......I cried a river. 😢
Frosty the Snowman or The Little Drummer Boy.
Untamed heart ... That was so sad that Bamboo heart part of that movie... I love that one :)
I dont remember its name unfortunately... But I didnt actually cry, it was an onion that no one saw except me.
