No, I do not think any of them are. Demon possession was how many people in centuries past explained mental illness and a lot of people were treated horribly because of it.

Nope. Although I've had my doubts since I've been kind of interested in spiritual things and demons since I've been an atheist my whole life and I've come to the conclusion. No.
To be honest this is one of the hardest question for me to answer! It is a massive subject with many angles. What goes beyond no doubt is this subject entitled to individual belief practices. No one can talk about it with certain tone because no individual has the power to prove it.
The only answer i can give is if you mean by "demon" the devil of the hell which connects to god and religious practices. I do not believe in such. But in the other hand, we have this phrase "demonic" forces. Demonic forces aren't necessarily "devil" the religious creature. This phrase calls on "spiritual forces" that carry dark intentions.
Thousand of creatures living among humans on this magical planet which our eyes aren't able to see. (just like an ant that does have a pretty loud voice, our ears structures range can not catch it) the possessions, pressures, and movements by these kind of creatures exist for me and i do believe. People like me experience and see things that at the end goes to Levi F's answer. If we don't be sick. They make us sick. And if we talk too much, they force us to be isolated and at the end we'll be a target to stay away from.

When I was an altar boy in grade and high school, I was the "top dog" and had my choice of assignments. I always chose the ones that gave me plenty of time in the sacristy while waiting to go back out on the altar.
That gave me time to read a number of books including the Rite of Exorcism in the Catholic Church.
That was over 50 years ago. The older I get and the more I learn, the more I am convinced that demon possession is a real thing.
