Sorry ! Never much cared for them. Loved the Doors and Cream and Jimi Hendrix but never cared much for the Monkees.

OMG. I WAS A HUGH FAN. I got to meet them when they came to play in Hawaii. Spent a few hours with them at a local radio station. Funny.........went into that meeting with Davey Jones was my favorite. By the end of it, Mickey Dolenz was my favorite.

I don't have a favourite Monkees song...so, apropos of nothing at all, I will hereby give you my favourite song from the BeeGees, this is live in Las Vegas 1997, and I saw those amazing guys were actually doing this song as late as 2001!
