Which is better: Rock n Roll music or Hip Hop?

This is easy. One is poo and the other is Rock n Roll.

That depends on what "era" of Rock N Roll you're talking about.

IMO ... For the most part, Rock N Roll ended by the early 1980's.
Rock N Roll was a mix of Rockabilly and Blues.

I enjoy both for different reasons and at different times. Until recently I enjoyed all types of music except for Country. When I learned the history of Country music, I then understood it better and had a different view of it. I live near the city where a hip hop style was born (gangsta 1990's), I understand the motivation behind it.

Music is a way for people to express the way they live or the way they see their lives. It bridges the gaps between people. I have a deep respect for that.

Most music usually is enjoyed in the moment, for what they contribute. If I am working on Cardio, I enjoy popular top 40 music.

If I am lifting weights then the driving beat of Hard rock helps me to focus a more aggressive posture.

When cooking, I like classical or light 70's rock . . . 

For me, the best music is that which fits the situation . . .

i don't mind a bit of each.. 

I'm going to take the unpopular answer and say hip hop because that's just what I listen to more. I love hip hop as a genre and I think a lot of people have the wrong idea about it and won't give it a fair chance, but we can't all like the same things. Listen and let listen.

Really i enjoyed both Rock n Roll and Hip Hop. But  times i like Rock n Roll
