I love pumpkin pie! I had some last night and I will have another slice sometime today. There are some opened gifts under the tree. We opened them last night since my wife had to be at work at 5:00 am this morning and will not get off work until 7:30 pm tonight. Bummer!

MERRY CHRISTMAS Otis and everyone else!

We didn't put up a tree this year, Otis.Β  The 1/2 tame cats would freak!Β  Our gifts were all exchanged at previous parties.Β  So, this weekend is for eating!Β  I fixed steak last night, and it's salmon tonight.Β  Chubby Christmas for me!Β  Good thing I lost that 5 lbs.Β  :

Happy, you should put the tree up with lots of ornaments so the cats can have some fun for Christmas! Lol

Come on over Gator!
Skip, it is fun to watch! We had one year where a 6 mo. old kitten leapt at the tree, tipped it into the end table knocking over a lamp, and spilling the tree stand. I hadn't even gotten the lights ready.

Merry Christmas Otis and the rest of Blurtit!

I like pumpkin pie, but I don't think we will be having any today. We are having 20 people for dinner and someone else is bringing the dessert.Β

Under our tree is looking light this year, as we are planning on buying an RV in a few months. That is Christmas, birthday and anniversary all rolled into one. (They are all within 7 weeks.)Β

Pumpkin pie is just OK and I don't have a tree but what would be under it will be the new website that my Tech Guru and I are putting together for after the first of the year. Time to put something together that everyone can enjoy. Any suggestions would be welcome. That's if they don't take this answer off like some of my others.

I was reflecting about my wife and I this Christmas.Β

We've been together long enough that each day is like Christmas in that we are always exchanging gifts with each other on a daily basis---none of which come from a store.

The gifting aspect of Christmas has become so routine for us in our lives this year that we chose not to buy gifts for each other.

Of course, for the kids and grand kids and other family and friends, we still give gifts.

This Christmas has been unique.Β  We may go totally traditional next year.

My Mother-In-law hand painted a ceramic dragon as a gift for me. That thing is incredibly beautiful!

It is beautiful! Wow! She managed to give gentle loving life like eyes to an inanimate object! THAT IS talent!

The eyes are actually glass eyes but she found very life like ones! The rest is hand painted though. She's very talented.

That's what I mean... to be able to bring life to something inanimate. Sorry my brother. My wording wasn't clear that way. ☺

This was the best Christmas I think we have ever had. I feel liberated like we have broken away from certain chains that had bondage over us way too long!☺

I like pumpkin pie but did not have any this year.
