That depends entirely on what genre YOU enjoy.
Is "The Walking Dead" overrated?
I dont think so, though it does depend on personal preference. I refused to watch any of it for a long time but a co-worker talked about it so often i finally decided to watch the first episode on Netflix. And i got dragged in. Ive now seen all but the current season and own the first season on DVD.
I'm probably the only person to say i've never really watched it as its just not my cup of tea!
It depends upon the build up.
I absolutely enjoy the series, for interesting social dilemma it represents. When someone asks me if it's any good, I am sure to not present too much "Hype" so as to diminish any initial impact it might have.
It is probably one of the best television shows to break out of the "Normal" drama cookie cutter writing, but so isn't "Fargo".
For me, its just a waste of air time.
I don't watch that show.
