I had just made a pot of coffee and figured that a peanut butter and jelly sandwich would go good with my mug of coffee. I made the sandwich and thought I was pouring my coffee into my mug but discovered that I poured it into the jam jar. I have no idea where my mind was but it wasn't on the task at hand.
Like Ancient Hippy, for me it was a routine morning making a cup of coffee and getting oatmeal rerady for the young one. Mind wondering I put the milk in the pantry; I dumpted my cup of coffee putting the cup in the dishwasher; and stuck a box of oatmeal in the microwave. Once reality came back I was nervous all day, double checking every little thing I did.
Had to iron some clothes. Doesn't happen often but that day I don't know what I was thinking, I put the iron in the fridge after I was done. Duh!😳
I walked into the men's washroom. Took a few moments for it to register where I was.
Found my lost phone in the fridge asking myself how did that happen
