I do some of each ... But mostly online these days.
Both have their merits but I do enjoy the shopping decisions that I can make with a touchy- feely in a store.
I have been known to window shop and gain knowledge from sales clerks and then make my purchases on line....if it's cheaper/ can wait for delivery.

I like getting basics online. For example most of the things my dogs need every month, I have delivered from an online store on a schedule. Other things I like to actually see and touch to check the quality of them before buying.
