Annie Oakley, born Phoebe Ann Moses had 8 siblings altogether. In order from eldest down they are: Mary Jane Moses (died young of tuberculosis), Lyda Moses, Elizabeth Moses, Sarah Ellen Moses. Annie was the 5th child of Jacob and Sarah Moses. Continuing then with John Moses, Hulda Moses, infant Moses (child died as an infant), Emily Brumbaugh (half-sister). After her fathers death (Annie age 6) her mother remarried Dan Brumbaugh who died when Emily was 5 months old.
