Marion Brooks is the name of a co-anchor for NBC5 News at 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. weekday newscast along with Bob Sirott. She joined NBC5 in the month of January, in the year 1998. Before joining NBC5, she worked as an anchor and reporter in WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. She was also a weekend anchor for KTVI-TV in St. Louis in Missouri. Her other work experience includes working for WJKS-TV in Jacksonville, Florida East Coast as a morning anchor and at WABG-TV in Greenville, Mississippi as a weekend anchor.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in the subject of English from Spelman College and is a part of the NABJ, National Association of Black Journalists. She was born in Vancouver in British Columbia and was brought up in Portland in Oregon.
