Leon Trimmingham was famously part of the All-NBL First Team. H popularly finished his career with a total of 2,023 points, making it the fourth highest total that was seen in school history. He was last playing for Hapoel Jerusalem. This native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands has enjoyed a truly world-wide pro career. Graduating from Briar Cliff, he went on to play the 1994 National Basketball League (that is, NBL) season with basketball team the Sydney Kings. In the year 1998-99, Trimmingham also played for Daiwa Hot Blizzards situated in Japan. He has played for a number of popular teams. For instance, in the year 2000, in Argentina, he was with the Boca Juniors and was voted as the top American in that league, leading the Juniors into the semi-finals of that league. Over the summer of the year 2001, Leon took a break and finally led the team of Virgin Islands National to what was it's first-ever berth in the popular Tournament of the Americas.
