What Is Esther's Secret In The New Movie Orphan?

Okay, I saw the movie yesterday. And ester has a disease (a form of dwarfism) that makes her look like she's nine when she's really thirty-three (I think that's her age 33 or 32). & she stayed at a mental hospital in russia because she posed as an orphan and killed families. And while she was their she was in a stray jacket that left her with scars she covers with the ribbons. And so she tries to burn the son because he was going to expose her for killing a nun that was trying to take her back to the orphanage. But it fails so she suffocates the son when he's in the hospital (but they say he'll be fine. But you don't see him for the rest of the movie) and then ester tries to seduce the father, but when it doesn't work she stabs him to death. And the daughter's in the house. And the mom was coming home from the hospital. And ester was trying to kill both the mother and daughter. But both live and ran away to this lake. And ester starts stabbing the mom there. And the little girl tries to shot ester but hits the lake. And both the mom and ester fall in the ice covered lake and start to drown. But the mom gets out and ester drowns. It's a pretty intense movie.

I saw the movie today. Esther is a 32 year old women that has a hormone problem and has some type of dwarfism that makes her look younger then she really is. She escaped from a mental hospital and went to an orphanage where she was then adopted. She soon kills a nun, breaks her own arm as well as a little girl's leg and nearly kills her new brother by locking him in a burning treehouse. Then when he isn't dead she tries to sufficate him. Then she starts to hit on her new dad then when he says he doesn't love her like that she stabs him to death. She then shoots the mother but the mother then fights back. Esther nearly kills the mother but is eventually killed. So it was a great movie not very scary but quite suspencful.

Her secret is that she is a 33 year old woman but has a disease where she's mentally adult but physically child(ish) and she was a very good girl on the beginning till she showed her true colors!! Oh and she has this thing for her adoptive father and tries to kill the family one by one until the dad is hers... :D scary!!!

The movie is great. Esther appears to be a child but is actually an adult with an severe mental disorder. She disguises herself as a child so that she can be adopted by families. Once adopted, she destroys and kills family members with the intention of getting the father. When the father does not like her as a woman she kills him too. She wears flippers, teeth that children wear in pageants, so that her smile appears child like. Once she takes them off she looks like pure evil. Great movie.

Obviously you were mislead...Turner syndrome has nothing to do with what the Ester in The Orphan has. Turner syndrome means the girl is short, webbed neck, sterile, has many heart and immune problems and is actually missing a set of sex chromosomes. What Ester has does not exist as extreme as portrayed in this movie.

She's really and 33 yr old girl with growing problems and she stayed small. She didnt come form n orphanage but from a mental institute, she B G 'd everybody and was a prostitute.
