If you look McFly's perspective not to mention their management too of course they will do everything to maximise their record sales. I would say that most of their fans are teen girls. If any of the members admitted being gay it could upset many female fans and McFly could loose popularity.
If any of them are gay it will all 'come out' in time and most likely later in their recording careers.
