Barbie Girls World was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Mattel for their Barbie franchise. It had free basic membership that allowed the players to create and clothe their own virtual Barbie. They could select different hair color, eyes, skin color, mouth shape, and clothing, allowing players to even create Barbie representations of themselves. They could go shopping and participate in games for B-bucks that were used to purchase furniture, a pet, clothing, and accessories. The VIP account gave members access to special items, games, and areas. VIP members could also send and receive online gifts, give and get virtual makeovers, and go to exclusive areas such as an amusement park. The cost of VIP membership was $5.99 USD for one month, $17.97 USD for three months, or $35.94 USD for 6 months.
The Barbie Girls world closed on June 1, 2011 and international Barbie Girls websites closed on April 30. If you have a three or six month V.I.P. Subscription to Barbie Girls you should receive an e-mail regarding your refund option. It would be sent to the e-mail address assigned to the account.
