How Did Eminem Come Up With His Name?

Eminems real name is Marshall Mathers. The first letter of his first and last name are M, and so came M&M. He later changed the spelling to Eminem, I don't really know why though, most likely not to conflict the well known m&m's chocolate product that came out in 1941. M&m's are currently owned by Mars.
