Brad Pitt, born William Bradley Pitt on the 18th December 1963, was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma and raised in Springfield, Missouri, USA. Pitt, along with his younger brother Doug and younger sister Julie, lived a fairly normal childhood growing up in the state nicknamed the 'Show Me' state. Pitt attended Kickapoo highschool where he was an active athlete and one of the top members in the debate club. After graduating from highschool, Pitt went on to attend the University of Missouri. There Pitt concentrated on journalism and advertising and, then, just two credits away from graduating Pitt left university, and Missouri, to follow his dreams in sunny California. Pitt soon landed himself an, uncredited, part as a waiter in the 1987 "No Man's Land" and graced the screen in many TV roles. In 1991 Brad Pitt won his first feature film role playing the sexy cowboy 'J.D.' in "Thelma and Louise". Today, Brad Pitt is one of Hollywoods most successful and sought after actors.

He grew up in Springfield Mo. My older sister and her family live there. My niece used to manage the store Children's Place at the mall there, and Brad would come in shopping for nieces and nephews (before he had his own kiddos) She said he didn't look that great in person.
