I think they should make Eldest a movie. They left out some important parts in Eragon...but if no one had ever read the book, you have to admit it was a good movie. You can't just leave the movie Eragon were it's at, and not make a sequel. They left everyone guessing, so you have to make Eldest a movie. But make sure that they base it more on the book, include important parts and don't change anything!
I believe they should make the book Eldest into a movie after the release of the fourth book, Inheritance. I am in the middle of reading the third book, Brisingr right now. I am really enjoying it and I would happily declare that this is the best book series I've ever read. To be honest, I enjoyed the movie, Eragon. Even though the books are a little better. I suggest that they make the entire series into thorough, detailed movies in which everyone can enjoy. I therefore announce that I am fully supporting the further process of developing the Inheritance series books into movies.
I still think they should make Eldest into a movie but we should all hope that they try and put things right. Even if some things change not many people are going to remember eragon as a good film so why don't they make Eldest a great film
Eragon was okay. It wasnt very bad. I really wish Eldest would become a movie too and if it isn't, Eragon will only be a history and no one will remember it. So to keep Eragon as a great story, you will have to create Eldest and Change the Director into Chris Colombus (the Director that direct Percy Jackson). I bet the movie will be amazing as everyone say the book was.. So, MAKE THE REST OF THE CHAPTERS INTO A MOVIE PLEASE! I BEG you!
Everything I have read online is pure speculation. Nothing official. Eldest should be made into a movie, but they need a director with a wider vision than the first one. The movie needs to be well over 2 hours long and needs much more magic and something needs done about the dwarves and elves. The woman who played arya just did the movie INKHEART with Brendon Frasier. It was pretty good. Anyway, anyone with real info on the movie please post it online!
Well, there is rumors that Eldest (2nd book of Eragon) will be made into a film in 2011, summer/spring. I hope that it is made into a film though because, I really enjoyed the book, and I think Eldest would make a great film. They did a fantastic job on Eragon (the film), with all the effects and the actors were really great! But two be honest, I personally think the book was a tiny bit better. Like I said, I recon Eldest would make a really good film, with all the Elves/Dwarfs/Varden/Thorn/and Eragons new/old dragon-rider-teacher. I am also looking forward to seeing if there is another book coming out, based on Eragon. I love Christopher Paolini ideas, keep up the good work chris!
Well the movie was good, when do regular people judge movies. Movies are suppose to entertain you. I'm not here to preach or anything. I'm just a person who loves movies, and I don't know when eldest will be released.
There Shouldnt be a second movie until all of the books have been released...the story is too important to cut little bits out of, because it is a completely intertwined series where there are so many characters that we in the first book become much more involved later on. The first movie was ruined because the script writers, director, and the producers all failed to recognise very important events. This is because they didnt have a completed story to work with. I say wait for the fourth book to be written. That way they can rectify their mistakes and hopefully start from scratch again, or at least make up for what the lost in the second movie. That is if they dare to make a second movie considering the feedback from the first.
We Americans think that we are the only movie producers in the world. Well, we are not by a long shot. I we don't finish making the cycle with Eragon, the Russian's will at Mosfilms, or the Indian's at the vast studio's "Bollywood", my choice would by one the major film studio's of the Peoples Republic of China, and last but not least one of the many film studio's in Japan. For those of you that have never heard of "Mosfilms", it is the largest film studio from its creation by the great leader of the Soviet Union, Chairman Joseph Stalin.
I think that they will not make a movie out of eldest. They will orbably ruin it just like they did with Eragon anyway. The Eragon movie was a complete disaster. I hated it because they cahnged so much about it. Like, in the movie, Saphira would have looked ok if they didn't give her feathers on her wongs.
