The sequel is said to be released in the US on 4th February 2009, tomorrow as I write this on 3rd of February 2010. It is entitled The Mountain Shadow. In UK the book is said to be release on September the same year. Good luck. - Anuratha
Is The Sequel To Shantaram Out Yet?
It was supposed to come out Feb 4 of this year, but I can't find it any where. Can someone please let us know if they do discover it somewhere?

Shantaram is a novel written by Gregory David Roberts in the year 2003. It is based on David's own life as he was a bank robber and after being convicted and prisioned, he escaped to india. There are rumors of a sequel to the book but as yet there hasnot been any advancements on that. However, the author has recently sold the rights to make a movie out of the book to Warner Bros and Johnny Depp. Check this site for more details:
