"When you walk through a storm" is the first line of the song You'll Never Walk Alone, which first appeared in the musical Carousel in 1945. This version was sung by Christine Johnson, who played Nettie Fowler, and the verse you're thinking of is this one:

Since 1945, the song has been covered over eighty times.
