If you mean the character from The Fourth Kind then at the end of the film she is alive.

  • About Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler
Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler is a character in a movie called The Fourth Kind. The character was played by Milla Jovovich from Resident Evil. Charlotte Milchard also played the "real" Dr. Abigail Tyler, but both characters according to the movie production were completely fake characters. That is not to say that some of the story is not based on certain facts.

  • Based on true events?

First of all there were disappearances in Nome, Alaska. It is a northern city where cold and small town life can become a problem. If the cold does not get one then drinking too much can. In 2005, the FBI was brought in on a real case where 20 people were missing. Most of them were found, but nine still remain missing. This is nothing new for the Alaskan terrain. Once someone gets lost in the wilderness they can be lost for decades. The colder regions can be unforgiving. So the fact that a lot of people went missing and that some are still missing is unfortunate, but it does not mean aliens.

The only real facts and actual events in the movie where people have gone missing is in Nome. The movie is more like a mocumentary with a lot of dramatization. It can be considered another Blair Witch Project if you will, wherein you are made to believe, given the plot and video of the film, that these events are "real" when they are actually just for entertainment.

So, the character of Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler is alive at the end of the film. Her character has moved to the east, where she supposedly searches for her daughter. In real life there is no person called Dr. Abigail Emily Tyler, at least not with this type of life.

She is alive now only in that the actress who played her, Charlotte Milchard, is alive in the United States now. Dr. Abagail Tyler is not real. They were actors. The interviewer in the beginning of the movie was Olatunde Osunsanmi, the producer/director of the film. The sheriff in the "archival footage" was an actor named Mike Straub. I found no bio of ANYONE named Dr. Emily Tyler on the internet. Universal pictures settled a lawsuit for fabricating archival footage. It was fake, end of story

No, she was never alive because she is a fictional character played by an actress named Charlotte Milchard. The "archival" footage' in the movie The fourth Kind was all fake. It was no more real than the blair witch project. I found no bio of anyone named Dr. Abagail Tyler anywhere on the net. It wasn't real.
