Aston Merrygold is a member of the highly successful boy band JLS and has four brothers: Connor, Kane, Antony and Reece. He also has one sister.
Since making their first appearance on the fifth series of 'The X Factor' in 2008, JLS have gone from strength to strength, obtaining a string of number ones in the UK music charts as well as a host of MOBO awards for their contribution to music. They have also endorsed several products and have even launched their own signature condoms with condom brand Durex. They have also had collaborations with famous R'n'B music stars and sold out tours across the UK.
JLS began to write their untitled third album in March of this year and have announced that the first single to be taken from the album will feature American alternative artist Dev. It is entitled 'She Makes Me Wanna'. The song and lyrics are co-produced and written by Moe Faisal and RedOne, and it has already been released for radio airplay as of May 2011. It will be released for digital download on 24 July 2011.
The boyband have also recently released a 3D movie of their concert footage entitled 'JLS Eyes Wide Open 3D'. It was shown in select theatres across the UK for three days at the beginning of June 2011.
