Unfaithful is an R&B song by Rihanna and written by Ne-Yo, Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen. The song was produced by Stargate and was one of the hits from her second album. This was a personal album for Rihana and spoke of many person episodes during her life.

Unfaithful is a piano driven ballad about a woman who is unfaithful in her relationship. Rihanna claims that the song is about herself when she was unfaithful in a relationship when she was 14. She does point out that it was a young relationship and it was not physical.

The song reached number 6 in the Billboard chart and it was number 1 on the MTV Total request live for 2 weeks. The single sold 4.5 million copies worldwide.

Rihanna was born in 1988 in Barbados. She moved to the USA when she was 16 to pursue her singing career. Her first album was released in 2005 and was called Music of the Sun. It reached the top 10 and then her second album, A Girl Like Me, did even better and peaked in the top 5 of the billboard Albums Chart. Her first number 1 was SOS from her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad. Other hits from this album include Umbrella, Take a Bow, Disturbia and Don't Stop the Music.

Rihanna was known for her long term on-off relationship with Chris Brown and there have since been many claims to other people they have both been dating.
