Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on the 27th of January in the year 1756 in what is present day Austria. He is remembered as one of the most magnificent classical music composers that ever existed. His musical masterpieces have ranged from operatic to symphonic, each that set new standards and many that were considered pinnacles in classical music.
Mozart father Leopold was a piano teacher and began tutoring Mozart at the piano at a young age. Realizing his son's potential he also began teaching him the violin and other string instruments. Quite a bit of Mozart's life was spent traveling to various places. During his lifetime he composed over 600 works that include; 21 stage and opera works, over 50 symphonies, 25 piano concertos, 17 piano sonatas, 12 violin concertos, 26 string quartets to name just a few. His style of music is said to be one of the most complex ones which many claimed, not many could comprehend. 'The Marriage of Figaro', 'Cosi fan tutte' and 'Don Giovanni' are the three of his most famous operas. He passed away on the 5th of December 1791.
