Nice... Soft piano into a powerful (and improvised) verbal ambush. A song to be remembered for sure.

Yeah, if you want to see something really cool and powerful, there is a CG animation of a deep impact with Earth set to that song... It's pretty wild.

Thanks for the video answer. Song was nice, movie looks interesting. The beginning monologue sounded a lot like the Twilight Zone hehe :)

I agree with the opening monologue comment.

It does indeed sound "Zonish."

I get ya, laughing so hard it brings a tear. True enough thanks.
Think about the real Spartans fighting at Marathon and the Gates. Fighting not for themselves but the future. It may be conjecture at this point but I get choked up at such a sacrifice....

Haven't heard it in years, but 'Run For The Roses'
by an artist I can't remember the name of.
His voice and the music with it would make
me a bit teary.   Then, too, it might have been the fact the
the song referred to horse racing and I love horses.

If it starts out with a piano and steel/slide guitar and the lyrics go "Born in the valley and raised in the trees of western Kentucky..." It was by Dan Fogelberg.
Thanks for the answer Syron9 :)

I still get choked up if I catch that old Charlotte's Web cartoon from the 70s. It hits me like I was a kid lol

Well, I have never listened to a song that made me cry...however, I watched this movie the other day called "Farmhouse"...and it was listed as a horror flick so I was just like okay kewl kewl...and throughout the whole movie this couple was talking about how their baby died and finally at the end of the movie you find out the parents killed the baby, but that isn't what made me cry, they actually showed this woman put her baby in a baby tub filled with water and the baby started to cry and then it shows her push and hold the baby down into the water and then the baby stopped crying. It just really pissed me off to see that kind of thing in the movies.
