Have Sanyo Flat View. Can't Turn Off Closed Caption. Not Option On Menu.?

I had this happen to me also.  I could not figure out why the TV now came on with the CC automatically.  I finally got it off the when I changed the Tuner Mode off Cable and put it to Auto under the install Menu.  I turned off the TV and back on and the CC no longer comes on.
